All Royal Court Petitions are due before first lunch on Tuesday, February 16.  If you want to run for prince or princess for 6 or 7 grades or king or queen for 8th grade, you must turn your completed petition in on time.   P. Jones

Students who would like to attend Royal Court may buy tickets during lunch beginning on Tuesday, February 16.  Tickets cost $2.00 each.   P. Jones

Do you have a desire to succeed?  Well, think about joining AVID for 7^th or 8^th grade next year!  Applications can be found with Ms. Avila in room 208 for B track students and with Mrs. Armstrong in room 214 for C track students.  Applications are due February 17^th by 3:13 pm and you can get help filling it out in Homework Help with Ms. Avila, advisory with Mr. Gordillo, or Mr. Lee or Mrs. Crawley in the counseling office during advisory.               AVID Club

Bookmark/Book Review Contest

Read a book, create a bookmark, write a book review and get a chance to win an iPod Shuffle along with some fun books.  Come to the Library to get more details about this contest.  Bookmark and book review must be turned in by Wednesday, February 24^th.  The winner will be announced on February 26, 2010.      O. FACULTY

Teachers, please distribute the “Gage Dollars” during class to students who demonstrate any of the pillars of character:  trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, or good citizenship.  Tickets will be available daily in the morning in the Main Office during sign in.  Tickets are to be signed by the teacher, completed by the student and deposited in the Main Office.  Completed tickets will be entered for Friday’s giveaway prizes!                M. Hall Pass/Nurse or Office Referral

Teachers, this is a reminder that all students sent out of the classroom must have a hall pass - the student agenda book if sent to the restroom or a classroom hall pass if sent on an errand.  If a student is sent to the Counselor or Dean’s Office, he/she should be escorted and must have a referral.  If sent to the nurse he/she must have a nurse referral slip.  If you need any office/nurse referrals contact the appropriate office.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.     Discipline Committee
