Homework for Absent Students
HOMEWORK FOR ABSENT STUDENTS: Make sure your child has a “Buddy” or two in each class to call if he/she is absent for a day or two. If a child is going to be absent three days or more, a parent can call or fill out a form in the Magnet Office to request homework. A minimum of 24 hours must be allowed for teachers to prepare the work to be picked up, and you must make your own arrangements for pick-up. The office will be unable to send for your child’s friend.

A-G Coursework in High School for college
The UC and CSU schools require a 15-unit pattern of high school courses for admission as a college freshman. Each unit is equal to a year of study in a subject area. A grade of C or higher is required for each high school course you use to meet the subject requirements. It is important to prepare for these courses while in middle school.
